It’s only fitting that the Courtright family assemble a group to take over a
location so incredibly rich in history. They go back a long, long time to the
late 1930’s when Carl’s mother, Sally Casto Courtright, and uncles Sam
and Tony Casto, operated Casto’s at 89th Street and Loomis. “If walls
could talk, we’d have ammo for an academy award winner. Oh yes, the
food and drinks were awesome too!” A copy of the original menu is on
display…you won’t believe it! |

Other Restaurants have evolved over the years, including Ken’s on
Western (105th and Western), Ken’s Guest House (Oak Lawn),
The Summer West (103rd and Western), Lavery’s Pub (Palos Heights
and Tinley Park), Courtright’s (fine, elegant dining in Willow Springs),
Jenny’s Steak House (Chicago Ridge) and now a second Jenny’s
location in beautiful downtown Frankfort. |
